The Economist was founded in 1843 by James Wilson, a British businessman who objected to heavy import duties on foreign corn. WitrynaLibertarianism as it exists in America is seen as a hybrid of left wing social policies, and right wing economic policies. In that sense, libertarianism isn't an economic philosophy so much as it is a wider political ideology that happens to encompass an economic policy (neoliberalism) that is shared by other political ideologies as well.
