An award, agreement, employment contract or workplace policy may also set out: maximum ordinary hours that are more (if reasonable) or less than 38 in a week Web(a) A part-time employee is one who is engaged to work less than 38 hours per week or an average of less than 38 hours per week and who has reasonably predictable hours of work. (b) The terms of this award will apply to part-time employees on a pro-rata basis on the basis that the ordinary weekly hours of work for full-time employees are 38.
