Theoretical lift curve slope
Webb20 apr. 2024 · To calculate the acting lift, the equation L = q S a 1 θ 0 is used, where q is the dynamic pressure, S is the wing area, a 1 is the lift-curve slope ( δ C L δ α) and θ 0 is the initial incidence angle. Webblifting forces can often be predicted to within sufficient accuracy using inviscid, linear theories. In these notes, I attempt to provide a uniform background in the aerodynamic theories that can be used to analyze the stability and control of flight vehicles.
